How it works

Set your residency, age group, and point totals once. TAGZ uses these to calculate odds specific to your participant type, so everything you see on the dashboard reflects your actual standing in the draw.

Filter Units by Animal Type

States issue separate quotas for bucks, does, bulls, cows, and either-sex tags, each with its own applicant pool and draw history. Filtering by animal type lets you spot where competition is lighter and find the hunt that actually gets you in the field.

Filter Units by Points

Your preference or bonus points are the main lever on your draw odds in states and species that use them. TAGZ calculates odds at every point level based on years of actual draw results. Filter Units by License Type

Not every hunt requires a draw. Some tags are available over the counter, some only through the draw, and in certain cases both options exist for the same unit. This filter separates them so you can quickly see what is accessible now versus what requires points and patience, including once-in-a-lifetime hunts like moose or bighorn sheep that can take years to draw.
